尊敬的沃伦·巴菲特先生及盖茨夫妇：
非常荣幸收到“捐赠誓言”的邀请，很早就知道你们通过比尔及梅琳达·盖茨基金会为世界作出的伟大贡献，我很高兴有机会和你们一起交流学习，并为社会做些更有意义的事情。
我出生于中国湖北省洪湖农村，小时候家里很穷，初中毕业就在农村种地，18岁时参军入伍离开家乡，32岁开始创业，经过近30年的努力，有了今天的一点成就。我很清楚是时代的发展进步才有今天的成就。因此，从1990年开始，我累计向社会慈善捐款2亿余元；并长期担任湖北省慈善总会名誉会长，致力于推动中国公益事业的发展。
2016年，我注册成立了美好公益基金会，在社区建设志工服务站，组织培训志工，为社区孤独、老弱、贫困人群提供帮助。
一个人，因为有爱，内心才会充满力量；一个企业家，因为承担社会责任才会让生命更有意义。因此，我愿意以你们为榜样，代表全家人共同承诺，捐赠资产的70%用于老年人和农民的脱贫帮困；愿意与所有热爱公益事业的人共同努力，用自己的毕生精力和财富，为人类的健康生活和文明进步而努力奋斗！

My Giving Pledge
Dear Warren, Bill and Melinda,
I am very honored to receive the invitation from the Giving Pledge. I have known for a long time that you have made great contributions to the world through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. I am very happy to have the opportunity to exchange ideas with you and do something more meaningful for the community and society.
I was born in Honghu Village, Hubei Province, China. When I was young, my family was poor. After graduating from junior high school, I farmed in the countryside. When I was 18, I joined the army and left my hometown. At the age of 32, I started my business. After nearly 30 years of hard work, I have made some achievements. I am very clear that it is the development of this era that has made my achievements possible. Therefore, since 1990, I have donated more than 200 million yuan to charity; and I have long served as the honorary president of the Hubei Charity Federation, and been committed to improving the development of China’s public welfare.
In 2016, I established the Myhome Foundation, to build volunteer service stations in the community, organize volunteers training, and provide assistance to marginalized and elderly in the community who are struck by poverty or health issues.
A person, because of love, will be full of strength in the heart; an entrepreneur, because of social responsibility, will make life more meaningful. Therefore, I am willing to follow you as an example and represent my whole family to promise that I will donate 70% of my wealth to help marginalized elderly and farmers trapped by poverty. I am willing to invest my lifelong energy and wealth to work together with all those who are passionate about the cause of philanthropy and charity, for the healthy life of people and the progress of civilization!
