Giving Pledge signatory Laura Arnold on how philanthropy can advance change in an age of division

Billionaire Nikhil Kamath believes capitalism will only work if inequality is addressed, and that starts with altruism from those at the top of the wealth pyramid.

Still running strong as chairman and CEO of Related Group, Jorge Pérez, 73, is currently worth $1.7 billion. He and his wife Darlene signed the Giving Pledge in 2012.

Over the past several decades, Gross has donated more than $700 million to charity, the majority of which went to the William, Jeff and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation.

Scott's total gifts this year are close to $6 billion
