We grew up in the right place, at the right time, with families who loved us, and teachers who pointed us forward.

We’re incredibly grateful. We want more people to have the opportunities we’ve had.

To this end, we’re committing our resources to two areas where we think the need is real and the stakes are high.

The first is healthcare. Despite all the energy poured into fixing American healthcare, it still fails and impoverishes too many people. We want to help the frontline medical professionals who give so much of themselves, as well as the patients they serve.

The second is climate and the natural world. The science is clear that we must act now to protect our planet for future generations. We want to safeguard wild places and the biodiversity they hold.

We’ll try to be thoughtful and work with people who know more than we do. We feel lucky to be in a position to try.
